Join us for a delicious dinner buffet on May 9th in Victoria, as we unveil our latest investment offering from Sussex Retirement Living – an Assisted Living and Memory Care facility in Kelowna, BC.
As the Canadian population ages, more individuals are being diagnosed with dementia. Unfortunately, many patients are being cared for in hospitals, which is not an ideal location, and puts strain on the hospital system as well. Currently, CBRE, the world’s premier full-service real estate company, estimates that Canadian seniors will require 50,000 new suites over the next 10 years.
Sussex Retirement living has been involved in several specialized memory care facilities across Canada and the United States, including one in Nanaimo. The current project, is being situated in Kelowna, targeting a 10% annualized hurdle rate and 50/50 profit sharing with investors. Sussex and its partners feel strongly about creating socially responsible investment opportunities that benefit all parties involved.
Previously, many Sussex investment opportunities were only available to accredited investors, with a $150,000 minimum. We are pleased to announce that this offering is available to eligible investors through an offering memorandum with a $10,000 minimum and is TFSA and RRSP eligible.
